Prior to that, she was the associate dean at Yale Law School. She is a the senior lecturer at Yale Jackson Institute for Global Affairs. Asha Rangappa, former deputy dean of Yale Law School and assistant Dean of the Jackson School of Global Affairs at Yale University is a senior lecturer and an expert in global issues. Asha held the position of Special Agent in the New York Division FBI for several years and was an specialist in counterintelligence. For her work she analyzed security threats facing the nation as well as conducted confidential investigations into suspect foreigners. Asha's experience with the FBI comprised electronic surveillance, interviewing and interrogating methods, as well as firearms and lethal forces. Asha obtained a bachelor's degree in public and international issues from Princeton. She also received a Fulbright grant to research constitutional change in Bogota. Asha received her Law degree in the year 2000 from Yale Law School. While there, she was an Coker Fellow on Constitutional Law.
